Log 01: First Steps into the Void

Step one, I guess. See if I can learn a little bit of code.

Found this Learn to Code Interactive AI Course by The Multiverse School. Running it on Proton's Lumo since the whole point is to use big tech less. Should give me a pretty good crash course in 7 different languages over the next 7 weeks.

Hoping I'll have a clearer idea of what I'd like to work on next after finishing the course, but I want to see if I can make an mp3 player from scratch. I think that should be a pretty good application of my new skills. Added a status tracker to the website so you can see where I am at! Next goal is to figure out how to get it to auto update, but its manual for now.

One of the skills I'm working on is HTML coding. The website is... functional. One of my first goals will be to figure out how to properly use CSS. And make sure each page has a consistent header and footer...we are getting there ok?

Log 02: Good News Everyone

On day two of learning, I am realizing I have a bit more knowledge than I first thought! So I've never really coded anything before, but what I have done is created online forms with conditional formatting, created automations in Monday, created variables in Shopify, and managed email databases. It's like realizing I have a small amount of vocab in the bank. The grammar though—the grammar is a bitch.

I also spent some time on the website. It has a Style sheet and even a tiny bit a JavaScript, are some of the more complicated things vibe coded? Yeah, yeah they are.
